I just bought this car and was told it was a 41 but I dont believe it is The tag on the firewall is 5 GW 8246 I will be making a street rod out of it It is in decent shape although some one has welded a new suspension on the front and did not do a very good job Thanks Larry

A picture would help. The only listing I can find for a 5 G W8 is a '46 sedan

I dont have a picture yet I just got it home. The serial number on the door is G208015 It has the same front grill and tail lamps as the 42 champion It is a four door with the rear suicide doors Also is there a good sight that has the body tag numbers Thanks Larry
