Kent Stauffer, KS Custom Rods, of LaGrange, Ohio is doing all the mechanicals on this redo. He has the motor set in position to begin fabricating the mounts. She fits like a glove, sitting 4 inches further back than did the 352, for better front to rear weight distribution. As seen in the first photo the original mounts have been eliminated . The plate the mounts attach to, will be welded to the inner frame rail as well to the backside of the cross member, for a much stronger result than if only welded to the inner frame rail.
