It took me twice as long as Ann.
Aren't the side grill inserts and air intake under the bumper, supposed to be the same color as the hood?
It's missing the "Studebaker" script, and maybe the "V8" emblem on the front fender. Early cars had neither, only late cars had the "V8" emblem. You would almost have to know the serial # to be sure what emblems it should have. The pattern of the two tone paint is for a late car.
I think it looks better with the grill inserts as they are; and without the emblems. What a beautiful car!

The script and V8 are not proper to the car as you correctly point out. The car was made on the 12th of December 1955 in South Bend. You are correct the grill inserts and intake are supposed to be the color of the hood. Sharp eye!sigpic
