      1951 Factory Facts (?)

Awhile ago I aquired one of those green and white booklets entitled, "A Trip Through the Studebaker Factory", that was issued in the early 50's. Inside the front cover, it looks like somebody took notes during the tour. Can anybody confirm or deny the accuracy of the facts of these notes? They are as follows:

      19,500 employees 8-14-51
$2.25 avg. male --- 10 yr. avg. service
$1.89 avg. female--- 11 yr. avg. service
      560 cars 1st shift
      280 cars 2nd shift
      maintenance men on 3rd shift

I was guessing that it was written by someone who took the tour since it is dated and the condition of the book is almost like new. Except for that great "old" smell.[]
