There was a Forum posting coommenced on Dec 30th with the title " B17, all Stude powered ". You will find a couple of neat photos there of the B17 engine line during WW2.

I remember walking under the B-17 'Nine-O-Nine' at an airshow several years ago. Two things that stood out ---The 'Studebaker Built' on three of the four engines, and the amount of oil on the ground under all of the engines.
Kind of reminds Me of My driveway!
