My transmission guy is eliminating possibilities in troubleshooting.
Since the sprags can physically slip in either way, how can we know which direction each assembly is supposed to freewheel and which direction it's supposed to remain locked?
Trying to eliminate the possibility it was assembled incorrectly before he opened it up.
Neither the Stude nor Hudson DG-200 manuals give a clear picture/description, but if we can determine, for example, the front one freewheels clockwise and the rear one counter-clockwise when correctly assembled, that answers the question.
