Anybody have a 10 inch rear drum in good condition, smooth type, no fins?

      Rich:

I didn't reply completely to your message. The 10 inch rear brake hardware I'm using is from a later model Stude, 2 inch linings with star wheel adjusters. One drum was fine, but the other is pretty badly scored. The outer rim for the drum has a flange that fits under the curved rim of the backing plate.

OK, so that means that the smooth 10 inch Hub & Drum Assembly you need is going to be a '54-'66 because you or someone has installed late type backing plates, shoes etc. on your '53. No problem just needed to know which it is, thanks.

Hope you're dug out ok, and the ice melt hasn't caused havoc. I recall some horrendous ice storms from years living in Portland.

Have you located a 10 inch rear drum yet?

              Rich:

A guy has offered me a nice used drum that has already been turned for $100, so I guess I'll go that route. If that doesn't work out, will be back to you for the NOS drum.

Boy I sure would love to get $100.00 for a used drum, got a lot of them and turning them is no problem, win some lose some.
