Does anyone know where you could buy the rebuild kits for V8 water pumps? Or are they not availble?

I don't think they're available. In fact, rebuilt pumps aren't that common since there's been new ones made. Surely some auto parts stores could have one rebuilt for you.:)

I have at least a half dozen of them (in original Studebaker packages).

The shaft and bearing are now about $25 finding the seal from CR and having to press the impeller and front hub off it is cheaper to buy a rebuild from one of the vendors. And there is a learning curve to these as you will brake a few housings till you get it right.
