  • Some New Years Studebaker Trivia

Thanks to Canadian automotive writer and historian, Perry Zavitz, here's some interesting Studebaker trivia that history recorded on January 2nd.

January 2nd 1860 - John Mohler Studebaker marries Mary Jane Stull.

January 2nd 1946 - After a parts shortage Studebaker is now able to begin production of its 1946 models, virtually the same as the 1942 models.

January 2nd 1964 - Studebaker begins its transfer of all car production out of South Bend, Indiana to Hamilton, Ontario.

    Happy New Year to all!!!

Interesting, Stu. I knew of Perry Zavitz, but did not know he was a Canadian. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

    G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.
