Hi everyone! We're starting to restore an M5-13 truck, but have been unable to figure out the year - other than somewhere between 1941 and 1947. The serial number from the data plate is 6048. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Also post this question on the Stude Truck Talk site. There's a couple guys over there that have compiled serial number information that isn't even in the manuals.

Your truck was built early in the 1946 production year which started with M5-5000. See my reference data page here:

Good luck with your truck!
