  • Studebaker - Chevrolet dealer, old street scene....location?

I really enjoy the old street scenes and especially when there is a Studebaker connection (as in this one). Most old photo cards are labeled as to location but this one is an exception. Does anyone recognize this town? The photo came from Kansas but the town could be anywhere. Studebaker and Chevrolet make for an unusual combination but I have seen maybe 4-5 of these dual dealerships over the years.

    Anytown, USA.

Might narrow it down a hair: Was Red Crown gasoline sold in the West?

Judging by the vegetation: I'm willing to bet that scene was shot in a '4 season' area. California, Florida and most of Arizona or Texas would have palm trees.

I'm most impressed with the fact that the automobiles are parked diagonally at the curb! Somebody suggested that for this town and there is the proof! POOF!!
I would suggest to ask Richard Quinn (the photographer) or someone related to his archives to discover
        what community this might be...

          Upper left corner has "orth".
