There is no place on the wagon that says Studebaker. I have had people say they have never seen a Parkview car. I am going to put a Studebaker script on the out side some where. I just haven't figured out where. I get tired of telling people it's a STUDEBAKER. All though I had a guy in west Memphis ask me what kind of truck is that and it has Studebaker on all 4 sides.

Good luck Carl. I used to have a plate on the front of Old Spot that plainly said "1952 Studebaker" and I still had people asking me what year it was.

Just get the Blue on a clear background LARGE "Studebaker" Decal for the top of the Windshield, then they will ask: "what year is that?" Or: "what COUNTRY were those made in?" :(

Isn't a '56 wagon supposed to have a 'Studebaker' script on the tailgate?
I think it is- on the opposite side from the 'Parkview' script.

Where is that nice shot Craig has of that black/yellow Pinehurst at...?

Say~

what if you put 'Studebaker' scripts from a Hawk
or sedan in place of the 'Commander' scripts?
I think that the pins are all in the right places-
so it ought to fit...

The 56 wagon I just sold had Commander on the front fenders and Parkview on the tailgate just to confirm. Hope you and your wife can come to the show again in Middle TN. Everyone loves looking at your wonderful engineering creations. It will be in the fall of 2012 in Nashville, at the Fiddlers Inn, just across from Opryland Hotel.

Actually, the car does say Studebaker on both the hood and tailgate. Look very closely at those plastic emblems (LOL, you just might need a magnifying glass...). They both spell out Studebaker in tiny silver letters.http://serve.mysmiley.net/winking/winking0071.gif (http://www.footballerpictures.co.uk)

The most common question I get is, "oh... well who made studebakers?" People are so indoctrinated with the megalithic-multinational corporations and their many slave-subsidiaries, they have forgotten that there were actually more than three American Automakers at one time. In fact, we used to have a very healthy and competitive business community at one time as well. Somehow, our government has forgotten about the anti-trust and anti-monopoly laws, as have the people.
