Champion Model G What year?

I ran across a Service Manual but it doesn't give a year. Any way I can't find it.

1939. Most would also apply to the '40.

Can't you look in the first or second page and get the Print date, Copyright date? Also it should mention which Model "G" Champion ie: 6G-'47, 7G-'48, 8G-'49, 9G-'50.

Found the date. I guess I was just looking over it. October 1939 Model 2G
