Wondering where the best place to buy an entire interior kit for a 64 Avanti?

As far as I know Phantom Interiors is the only place that had/or has, most ALL of it.

There is also Nostalgic Avanti, who MAY have some.

You might check with John Poulos, Forum Member: JDP

But hurry John is getting out of the interior and carpet business. His website is .... http://stude.com/covers/

In all cases, prepare for varying degrees of sticker shock. If you really don't have anything (nothing shiny, no vinyl), figure $5000 conservatively. Phantom will sell you the patterns, but has gotten out of making the panels. Jim Lawrence in West Virginia does them one at a time and was pretty backed up last I heard. Rene Harger at Southeast Studebaker will make the panels and cut the vinyl pieces, but he does not have the stainless trim parts, so you have to provide those. Dan Booth at Nostalgic can find the trim parts, and will charge you so much you will wonder why you ever considered this hobby in the first place. I'm in the middle of doing the interior of a 63, so my info is fairly current.

good luck.

I recently discovered that I have a couple of '63 door panel strips, and one pair of stainless door sill strips. If that would help anyone.

What about Starlight Studebakers? Did they not have any Avanti interiors? or just Lark and Hawk interiors?
