  • "Power Pack" vs "Power Kit"

Remember the Power Pack 55 Chev.? 4 bbl. dual exhaust. I also remember the Power Kit offered for the 55 Studebaker. My Dad had a 55 4 dr, with a 259 engine and 3 speed od. He was challanged by a local young hot rodder in a 55 Chev. with the PP. The Stude. made a beliver out of the Chevy guy. I was 11 at the time (1955).
I remember everyone looking under the hood later and being told Chevy wasn't the only one with a power pack. Years later, I made the comment aboout my Dad having a 55 Power Pack Studebaker. I was in a Studebaker crowd.
You would have thought I had said "Channel Locks" vs slip joint pliers. SOOO, all you hard noses, ease up a little. I kow it's "Power Kit" to be "Correct". LOL LOL LOL LOL

P.S. The engine in my 53 came from guess what??
Working...
