  • Uneventful trip

Got home about three of hours ago.
Went to the Perry, Ga. all makes swap meet Friday and Saturday.
Was not able to sell Frosty but had a grand time just the same.
Almost 300 miles round trip these two days with no problems to delay me.
I have a couple of things to add to my punch list. The amp gauge is flickering, I think the problem is in the alternator and I think I have a rear wheel bearing that's making a noise.
I have got to get that temp. gauge fixed. I hate having to stop every ten miles to check the temp. of the engine with my infrared thermometer.
Next week-end I hope to go to the Moultrie, Ga. all makes swap meet. A lot farther, maybe 500 miles round trip.
Let's see, 140 miles last week, 300 miles this week, 500 miles next week.
I may never get rid of Frosty, I'm getting too many smiles per gallon.

These pix are from last Sunday morning, just before my trip to Lineville, Aladamnbama.

That is a nice looking ride Jerry. A few minor glitch repairs and she will be a good driver. Miles=smiles.

That can't be the same car you started calling the rustobaker a while back!

Better sell that car Jerry. Leo (you know, that red '55 I think you forgot you own) is going to be jealous.

And, I promise I won't tell anyone that you own a street rod shop and know how to build a nice car.

Shhhhhhhh, quite. Only you know about my backwoods, redneck, hillbilly, country bumpkin rod shop. It's just amazing that no one has been killed yet with all those exposed florescent lights in my hokey ass paint booth.

That is a long name for a shop, how do you get- "backwoods, redneck, hillbilly, country bumpkin rod shop" on a business card?

You would laugh at the spray booth I use...it is an actual spray booth....from about 1970. I have to bring my own air supply, long extension cords, and hope the light work....but the guy does not charge me to use it.

Jerry, as you know I'll be making the drive over to your backwoods, redneck, hillbilly, country bumpkin rod shop on Monday. I hope I survive when I walk by those exposed lights.

Did you happen to pick up my Broadmoor carpet set from Rene Harger today?
