    Lou,

There you go leap-frogging me again. I can barely make the adjustment to run rubber radials instead of bias plys on our convertible. . . . . and now you are going to electric tires.
You guys on the west coast are always so far ahead of the rest of us.

Never driven a car with electric tires?...they run better with original air from South Bend. Check out the new SI Cat....they sell it by the pound, I think.

Lou, how do the electric tires work with the positive ground on your '52 ?

do you need a compressor to just top off tire pressure - or more?

          Lou

When I wanted a pump to air up my tires occasionally I purchased a cheap Campbell/ Hausfeld electric one at Harbor Freight. It is a little noisy but serves its purpose. It is about the size of a shoe box.

I found one at Black & Decker. It works on A/C or 12v DC. I got it from Amazon but it's not available in Canada.

Hey, thanks for the advice. I just bought a B&D AS1300 at Target for $49.99. Haven't tried it yet, but I'll post my results when I do.

Well, I just tried out my new B&D AS1300: It worked fine but is cumbersome to use...poor location of on/off switch.
