Is someone able to scan or post a color copy of the paint choices for 1947? I have a friend who found a conversation and we are trying to determine the color. Looks plum l purple to me. Thank you

I have a few paint vendor catalog's and for 1946 Studebakers Dupont listed a Winetone Maroon color Duco #246-35987-M and another code # W-NB 7694 which I think is a factory code number. If you post an email address I can email a scan of the page to it. Stude8

Certain colors were reserved for convertibles only. Your description sounds like Holiday Red. (It isn't 'red' at all)
