I'm helping my brother on his 1948 Champion. On top of the dash board centered at the winshield divider post is a small circular trim piece held in place by a stainless phillips screw. This is the location that you normally find the windshield wiper switch as is on my 53. However there is a windshield wiper switch with a big (W) on the lower left side of the row of switches. The owners manual even indicates this as the proper location. What was to be on the top of the dashboard? I wonder if we are missing anything.
