Very cool, Bob; 'hadn't seen that. Thanks. BPWe've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.
G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

That engine sound is amazing!
If you like this sort of thing, I've been following Lucha Libre Racing for a while, both on their blog and Facebook. Fun stuff.

Sweet video Bob~ thanks for sharing that. The last one from La Carrera I remember seeing here on our beloved SDC Forum didn't end well for the 'staring' Studebaker...

That is some sweet driving, so smooth as the narrative said. Did not hear a single tire squeal through the whole thing. If I read correctly they were the overall winner in 2010. Very impressive and another high mark for Studebaker!

That was some good driving for sure. I was watching it and wondering if I'd have the cahones to ride along where that camera set. I think there'd be permanent fingerprints in the naugahyde when I got up. It's one thing to be at the wheel yourself - it's another to be at the mercy! LOL!
Yes, Kelly - that is a Stude coupe (53 or 54). I'm not sure about the engine - maybe someone else here knows. No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

All but one of the Studebakers that have run recently in the LaCarrera Panamericana have run other than Studebaker engines. Most of those cars have chassis that are very NASCAR-like.Joe Roberts
