  • Anybody know this dealership?

I was browsing Google Images and found this picture. Does anybody know anything about this dealership. I would at least like to know where it was.

Sorry Joe, it's not Morehead City NC.....................

"Morehead Motors in Aberdeen, Washington, photo taken circa 1955. They look like a successful dealership who sold Studebaker and Packard. The sign in the front window is announcing that this is their new home."

It is at 212 Market Street, Aberdeen, Washington. It has been extensively remodeled.

Jim-- I really hate to be 'that' guy,
but the only car I see with skirts is a '54 Land Cruiser...

They must have been relatively successful Dealers, it appears that they probably had ordered and sold a FLEET of 4 identical '55 4 Door Sedans!

And who knows, maybe the 2 Trucks were part of the package also.

I remember that Dad sold Mr. Crozer of Crozer Machine Shop in Hawthorne, CA a '55 President Coupe for himself, a '55 President State Sedan for his wife and a '55 Pickup with the new (for pickups) V-8 Engine for the Business.

Being near the ocean, some of these poor Studes may have been victims of early rust out . Of course living in a high desert area, we don't worry about that much over here on the dry side of the Cascades........hee hee.

Thanks to all for the quick response to my question. I really love the idea of the dealership having been a Packard and Studebaker dealer.
