Do you mean a "hitch" for the back of a GT that you would hook a trailer to?

The size of the hitch is dependent on what you are going to tow. To tow bar a car or use a tow dolly, the Studebaker factory option hitch is fine.

Dick,

I have seen hitches for the C/K's on eBay from time to time. I believe they were aftermarket hitches made when these cars were new (or nearly new). I have never seen a factory hitch for them or literature on them. If there was a factory hitch, the Studebaker National Museum should have the drawing. Contact Andy Beckman there (574)235-9714 or abeckman@studebakermuseum.org

I crawled under my '63 and it looks tough to fabricate a hitch. It would probably be best to attach it somehow to both frame rails. The bends would have to be rather intricate and I'd put some sort of doubler where it attaches to the frame rails.

Good luck!
