    The '61 Cruiser is ready to go. We leave at 9:00 am Friday. 160 mile road trip, most of it on Old Route 66. As good as it gets!

        I like that Lark. Nice mix of original looks but vintage rhetro bomb stuff with the wheel and center caps and skirts. Nice look. I prefer cars that have an old school style and flare but are not OVER done. That or the FULL blown chopped and sectioned metal flake bombs.

          just dropped the tail another inch. all outta room now, just two inches from the axle tube to the frame rail, and thats with no one in the car! got the wife to go for a ride, filled the tank and she's not banging on the frame, so off we go!

            loaded the trunk full of stuff and its now lowered itself another 3" in back sits nice and purty. Cant wait just a few hours to go!!!!!

            What time you gonna be in clinton? maybe we can get a couple pics of the studes together in the daylight this time.

              we are staying at the homewood suites in forsythe. the wife wants to go there first and we can't get in the room until three, so i'd say somethin' like 4:30 - lets do that pic - maybe we can get Bob Palma to twist some arms and put it in the mag!

                you get my PM? if not gimmie a call once your settled in, and if your feeling sporty grab your meat and come over to the hotels outside decatur, we'll have grills up and running. Our club the Vagabonds sponsers a meet with meat before the preparty.

                    On your way back north, I hope you will travel on Route 66, stop in Pontiac and visit the Route 66 Museum. We also have a new Pontiac - Oakland Automobile Museum.
