The controls for the new unit are designed to fit in the original holes in the dash. The function of the controls are a little different than the manual controls of the old heater so if you use the stock face plate, they are a little off. I took the stock face plate I had to a graphic artist and had a new faceplate decal made to look like the original but have a better description of the switch functions. As you can see the font is not exact but it's pretty close. I had it made in a brushed aluminum look with a black background.
