  • Question about picture sizes.

Which is best for the forum and the members?
A thumbnail straight from my computer that you can click and make it bigger?
Or a 600 X450 size from my Webshots albums?

    This?

    Or this?

As big as possible for me, I'm on cable internet. Big downloads are no problem. I know for those on dial up that smaller would be better.

i usually go with thumbnails, since a lot of forum members still have dial-up.
if you click the thumbnail twice, it gets "fairly" large...

Jerry, we're all getting older and small things getting more difficult to see, so the bigger the better!

A double click on the thumbnail from your hard drive will make the photo larger than a direct link to your Webshots.
I agree with Corvanti here, in deference to our members with dial-up.

Keep in mind that you can no longer post a pic directly from your computer when posting pictures in the "Stove huggers" forum. I think for all the other forum categories you can post direct. On the Stove Huggers forum you have to use an online host like "Photo Bucket."
