.

I have two turn signals with my 51 I am restoring.
One has 3 wires coming out of at then two of those wires each split into two becoming a five wire unit.

I have another one that has six individual wires coming out of it, but it is in terrible condition.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram supplement for a 51.
I would like to know which unit is correct and which wire goes where.

Again please this is a 51 Chuck Collins does not list a supplement for a 51.

Thanks

Paul

The 3-wire switch is for a 1950 or earlier. To use it in a '51 you will have to add separate wires and bulb sockets to the rear.
You can order a copy of the installation instructions with wiring diagram for either the 1950 or 1951 switch here..........

Don't know if this will help but, my switch harness for '51 with factory turn signals from Rhode Island Wire Service included this:

A complete wiring diagram is in the shop manual.
