  • First drive

Today was a good day--I got to drive my 53 Coupe for the first time (other than on and off a trailer and up and into and out of the garage). Still have a bit of work to do as I have a slightly soft and low brake pedal and no muffler, but it looks like I'm going to make my original goal of at least being able to drive around town on IDYSD.

Very short movie on my blog (linked in my signature below) if you're interested.

    What a hoot!

Thanks to all for the advice that helped me get this far.

This fall/winter, I'll be pulling it into the garage for the engine swap (full-flow Stude 289 if you didn't recall what I was up to...) and prep for paint/interior. So the hard work is just beginning. Felt great to get a little reward in the middle.
