  • Week 2 of my 50 Starlight repaint.

Week two and we found NO filler anywhere! Jerry, my painter, thinks the hood and both front fenders have been replaced at sometime in the distant past because they had a gray primer while the rest of the car has a red primer. Next week will be a final sand and then primer. It should be done in two to three weeks.

    Another post next Friday!

Thanks for posting these pictures. I would like to do the same thing to my 52. Your 50 looks very solid.

Is it a New York State car? What I can see of them, the windshield stickers look like NY reg. & insp.

You're a lucky man! Nice to have such clean sheet metal to work with. It's a rare blessing to not encounter bondo and hidden wrinkled metal!
