  • San Diego Studebaker Contacts

Jesse Moon is pulling into San Diego on the USS Boxer about now.
He is a nice young Studebaker man that might need some local help/information, whatever. Jesse has a 1954 Champion coupe that he is planning on bringing from Indiana to san Diego.

His father, Rick Moon (the Studebaker arist) came back from Hawaii on the Boxer on one of those family cruise things they do now, so he should be there too, at least temporarily.

Jesse has some welding skills and that might work to your benefit.(g)

If anyone wants to let their presence be known to Jesse I would appreciate it. He is a good guy.

There's a whole bunch of us here in SD! I'm up in Oceanside (about 45 miles north of Coronado), and I'm sure you'll hear from StudeDave shortly

            Pass this on:
Every month (except July, when we do the 7/4 parade in Coronado,) at the Allied Garden Rec Center, 5155 Greenbriar Ave, SD.
Take I8 east to Waring Road, then go (about 1 mile) just past Zion Rd (busy road at the far end of shopping center on left) and turn left on Greenbriar. Rec Center at the end of the road. Do not look for Studebakers. Damn few of us drive them to the monthly meetings.

Servicemen with ID get free admission to the Auto Museum in Balboa Park, IIRC. If not, I'll cover you. (I've been there only 7 years.) When not goofing off elsewhere on Fridays, I'm there.
