Rotated the tires on my wife's 08 daily yesterday and got the torque wrench out to torque the alloy wheels down to the manufacturers specs (90 lbs/ft.).

Also decided to rotate the tires on my 60S-W6 while I was "in the mood."

Out of curiosity I looked through the original owners guide and there was nothing mentioned about a specific torque for the lug nuts on these cars - does anyone have any idea about what it might be (if there was one)?

Thanks ahead.

I've always used 80 ft-lbs as a rule of thumb if I don't have a spec. Never had a problem.

amazingly enough, that's exactly what Tire Rack recommends for a 1/2" lug.

retorque after a few miles,it is good practice and we have lost a wheel on the freeway from not doing so. they like to loosen up on some wheels
