  • Lehighton, PA Studebaker

    Hello all,

I am new here and looking for some info or a point in the right direction!

My grandfather owned and kept a Studebaker in a barn near Lehighton, PA (Mahoning Valley). As the story goes, my grandparents got a new car, but he didn't want to part with it. Allegedly, he backed it into a barn owned by an elderly farmer lady adn left it there for decades. I only ever saw it one time when I was a kid, but never forgot about it. I know he sold it to someone, possibly around the mid-90s for (reportedly) about $200.

He has long since passed away, but I have always wondered about the car. What kind it was, what happened to it, where it is now, etc, etc, etc.

If anyone has any information, or where to further my search, I'd appreciate it!

    Thanks for your time!
