  • Cool/Heat: Right turn noise

I have replaced the 4" hose that goes from the engine compartment, through the right wheel well, to the Climatizer under the passenger's seat. When ever I make a right hand turn I hear a grinding noise. I have checked the newly installed hose and find that the wheel/tire (215/R75 15) is rubbing against the hose. Can anybody send a picture of the proper routing of the hose in the wheel well so I can adjust my installation and get rid of the noise?

I think the problem is more with the size of the tires than anything else. I have a 62 GT with the same size tires, and it does the same thing. I guess you could move the duct around and get a little more room, but it is kinda pinned against the fender brace.

I have the same issue with my 55K and I run 205s. I have secured the duct with a strap and found some relief, but on a sharp turn, the noise drives my dog bonkers.
