  • Supersized Wooden President

    Hi
I've got a photo of the large wooden President that was located on the Studebaker Proving grounds for a number of years and was finally removed by burning it down. I am putting together our club's newsletter and I'd like a few details on the car. I can't seem to locate the articles in Turning Wheels.
Can anyone help with the year of the car and when it was burned? Any other details or reference would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Graham

Graham: What you are seeking is Dick Quinn's "Life and Death of a Giant" in the September 2004 Turning Wheels Almanac, Pages 26 and following. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

      Thanks Bob.

Thanks Bob - just what I needed.
My index isn't new enough to cover that year.
