Transmission / Overdrive: Transmission main shaft ID

Was over at a Hudson friends house and found this in a pile. Studebaker NOS with hand written part # 307722
I can't match that number in any book I have--can anyone out there ID it for me?

Since that number is not machine printed on the label, my guess is that it's hand written WRONG.
This Part has been re-labelled with a '63-'64 label, but it's part number is VERY old.

OR...it is older than 1951, very likely because, there are only 8, 307 Series Part Numbers in the '51-'54 Chassis Parts Catalog! It has to be either a Std. or Overdrive Trans. Main Shaft, and the partial note "without' tells me probably a Std. Trans.

Update: I just checked the '47-'50 Book and there are NO 307XXX Numbers at all!

That is a good part #................for a Hudson! Fits 1953-54 Hudson Jet. Also studebaker #521474, 1955-61 T-96 with OD. (or 1946-61 depending on whose book you use)

I've got a few NOS mainshafts for Stude trannies. Haven't looked at them in awhile but I believe they were for T-96s. I'll probably scrap them because probably nobody will ever need one, right?
