Todd, check above in the fine print under ships to : US and CANADA. Also below says will accept payment from US or Canadian bank. You're good to bid and its located just across from the Windsor border. I have purchased a number of times from the US where they list No Foreign Bids, but when I contact them they say didn't mean Canada. It seems to often refer to outside North America.

The only things missing are the engine trans seats and bumpers.
I think the word ONLY is being stretched a little bit, basically he is trying to sell a 1951 Starlight Body on Rolling Frame. IMHO the BIN price is stretched a little too. I would sell my 51 for that kind of money and it is a complete car [?]

this is another example of the barret-jackson effect. Another guy thinking just becuase its old it must be worth a fortune. At these price's I will never get a old car. I have decided since I will never be able to afford a Packard Hawk,to rare for my wallet I would like a bullet nose or a Starliner Hardtop. So my search continues.

Randy, be careful you don't fall for the auction effect... you can find desirable cars for rational money; just keep looking in your local classifieds, and the best of all- eBay!!

Part of why I love Studes is that I can have a fun, interesting, and uncommon car for really cheap prices [8D]

Good luck- and getcher Studes before the rich discover 'em!! :D

I think you guys are being a little bit rough on this car. Yeah, the BIN is goofy, but this is a DESIREABLE model (desireable OUTSIDE the Studebaker realm, in fact) and the frame and suspension look like new from what I can see.
Sure, it needs glass, interior and a drivetrain. Heck, 10 years ago I had folks dumping Champion engines and trannies on me. It's still happening. I've turned them away of late. The future's closing fast and we're thinking of moving in 6 or 7 years.
This looks like a pretty solid candidate for rodding and it would probably get different seats anyway - certainly a different drivetrain. It's already got the vaunted F*rd 9"[:0] rear in place. I don't know about anyplace else, but around here, those things aren't just laying around waiting to be picked up.[V]
Robert observes he likes playing with Studes 'cause they're so cheap. That's still the case to a degree. Robert, you should'a gotten into them 10, 15 even 20 years ago! Cars AND parts galore, back then.[:p]
If this car's reserve is just under the BIN, it's a case of wishful thinking. If it's under 5 grand, it just might add up. Quite possibly, this seller saw the recent coverage of the Chicken Hawk in the Hot Rod magazine. That would be food for thought if you happened to have a Starlight Coupe project sittin' idle in your shop.;)
