  • Anyone near Lexington, KY?

Jim McCuan is going to pick me up Wednesday night in Lexington, Kentucky. Are there any SDCers nearby or anyone know of somewhere safe where I can leave my truck until Sunday?

    Matthew:

I know Gary Hearn is moving there, I don't know if he is there yet, I don't think so. Might shoot him an email on the other forum

    take care

The friendly local police department probably could offer/recommend a safe place.

Looks like Matt is going to come on to our place and leave the truck here.

Lexington would have made sense. By my calculation, Matthew is going to log 2,526 miles round trip as driver and passenger!
Hope he still has that stamina in another forty years.

I did 4700 miles last year for the Bonneville run and getting ready to do it again in 4 weeks, and before that a run to the Georgia coast and back. All Studebaker related. Maybe I can get Matt to tag along on those too.

It's another 50 miles of driving each way if I go straight to Jim's place versus Lexington. When I'll already be logging 1200 or so, another 100 isn't much of an issue. Besides, I've been wanting to see Casa de McCuan.

Made it as far north tonight as Fayetteville, GA with a truck load of stuff. Getting close to being moved here for good. Should be in southern Illinois my lunch tomorrow.

This sure is a lot of driving just to deliver a set of wheelcovers to Brad (Rockne10).

Stude vendors worldwide are known for their dedication and personal service. We CASO's are always willing to save a few bucks on shipping. You'll know my car by the venetian blinds and lack of wheel covers.

I think I'm the one who should be supplying the beverage!
