Selling my R2

Finally getting around to selling some of my cars. This 1963 Daytona Supercharged R2 (not a clone - the real deal) is one I restored back in 1999 or so and I've only driven it a few thousand miles since. So I guess it's time to sell, huh?

I'll be listing it on e-bay in the next week or so unless someone on the Forum is interested and contacts me before then. Please give me a call if you're interested and want details about the car, price, etc. Thanks!

You know, Steve; even though Sal was kinda joking, he might have a good idea.

If you guys are bringing all the cars back to the Pure Stock Drags on your tri-hauler, why not bring that one along with a For Sale sign on it if e-bay doesn't produce a buyer in the interim?

If you were going to make a pass down the track, though, you'd have to install a set of 1963 wheels/tires/wheel covers to pass "tech," of course. Seriously. BP

Thought about it,a long ways to take it and then not sell it.I would really hate to put on those caps,I really think those boring caps don't do the car justice.I hope people realize that this is a very nice car,

Here I was ...doing great this morning...having said grace over my morning medication, breakfast, coffee, and wished my wife a great day as she rushed off to work.

Then surfing the forum, I stumble across your thread. Until now, I had managed to forget that my retirement time should be spent scouting for the best overpass to pitch my tent under. Not only did I begin to slowly daydream over your R2...but scrolling on down to your signature and seeing the list of your collection...I spun off into a full sinful violation of the tenth commandment! Offer still stands for future sales! The Golden Cruise was pretty good. Peg and I were there from 12 till 6. We then made one pass all the way through town. Only took about 45 minutes! We will miss the August Cruise. Will you be @ the Orphan Show on the 31st? What are you going to bring? As much as I would love to be parked next to your Golden Hawk, I bet your Coupe Express would be the hit of the show!
