how do you remove the outside molding around the windshield of 58
packard hawk.
help would be welcomed.

I've never done it on a Packard Hawk, but most of them come out with the windshield and rubber molding. And go in the same way.

As Tom said,need to take windshield and moulding out as a unit only then can the stainless be removed, it is L shaped at the part that is inside the rubber and therefore cannot be removed without removing windshield or you will ruin it if you try.

Is this also true for a 56 wagon???? when I bought my project the winshield was out???? Almost ready to put back in.

If the wagon came with reveal mouldings they have to be put in the rubber before the windshield is installed.

Go to www.packardhawk.com and send an email to mike...He did his HAwk a few yeaars ago and should be able to give you an idea of rmoving it, or anything off of a Packard HAwk...
