  • 58 Packard Chappell Hill, TX

    I was in Chappel Hill TX yesterday and noticed a 58 Packard with a for sale sign on it. It looked solid but needed full restoration. I took a couple of pics with my phone if anyone is interested I can post them.. I noticed a stash of Larks in a shed in the back yard also, he maybe a SDC member

        Was it a sedan, hardtop or wagon?

          Sure is. 'Cause the last time I raced a Packard, he won. Of course, that was in 1947 and I was on my Schwinn. And he didn't know he was racing...

              I think it may be my brother's car. I just emailed him. He has 7 or 8 Studebakers in various conditions. A couple are VERY nice.

                Yes, it is my wife Mary Kay's car...We have WAY TOO many projects and want to sell it....289 Auto, 4 door...I want to concentrate on the GT hawk and 62 champ

                  Plus , I need to finish repairing the "Suburban From Hell" and sell that Chevy POJ.....350 was a good motor, but in 1999 the oil pump shaft collar was switched from metal to PLASTIC....good motor turned into a POS
