  • Anyone need a Lark Radiator?

I have a radiator from my 62 Lark 6 cylinder that I won't be using with my Chevy V8 conversion because I bought an aluminum radiator. Looks to be in great shape. Bought the car last summer and drove it all summer. no leaks or cooling issues. If anyon'es interested shoot me an offer. It's just taking up space and I'd like to see it put to use.. I'm in a NW suburb of Chicago and would prefer pick up since it might be expensive to ship, but let me know in any case. I also have the stock driveshaft. I'd be willing to trade for a decent Driver's side door mirror.

No interest. Is a radiator like this just junk? Should I pu it out by the curb for the scrap guys?

I've got a couple of rads I keep upstairs in my garage just for the fact that some day someone will come along looking for one. I sure wouldn't put it out .

Hang on. Someone will need it. Please realize you are dealing with a realitively small group of people when you factor in the need for a local buyer and/or shipping costs. Good Luck, Steve

If you decide not to store it, take it to the yard yourself. You'll be surprised what they are worth in the scrap world.

3-1/2 hours is not a lot of time to give for responses. Most folks here work for a living. Give them a chance to get in from the job, have a bite to eat and log into the forum. The scrap guys won't come by 'til tomorrow anyway.

you're right. I was at work myself, and got busy. Checked the post and forgot I just put it out today> I actually thought I posted it yesterday. I'm just anxious to get rid of this stuff and would like to see it used. I don't have a lot of space to store things.

Believe me, I understand. Get busy and forget the time, day, even week, lol. When I travelled a bit, I had trouble remembering what town I was in when first waking up. Hope your parts find a good home.
