Very nice '50 Commander convertible. Just about the brightest car here!

If you said this one was black..you'd be wrong. It has little flecks of red deep in the paint.

And I think I've never seen one exactly like this one:

And it sounds as good as it looks!

How about a 'full package' R-2 Wagonaire?

Or the skirts on this Speedster?

And these guys musta gone fishing but only brought back the fins!

(Dunno why, can't make some of these pix work. Next time...)

Fixed it for ya. The trick is to be extra extra careful when you add fonts, sizes and colors to your posts. I didn't see exactly what you did- but I was able to get it figured out. Thanks for posting- lookin' forward to seeing more in the coming days...

Thanks for the pictures, John. The 1953 Starliner has a sign in the quarter window. Is it for sale? Does anyone have the information on it?

That Wagonaire is maybe my favorite Studebaker ever, owned by my friend Malcoln Berry. I forgot how many decades he's owned it. Not a factory r2, it's a car he built. R2, 5-speed, A/C, and of course fast as he##! He took me for a ride in it in Iowa.

That picture does not do it justice! Check out the engine:

Really an amazing car. Wish I was there to fanagle another ride in it!

That orange sign details work on the car and how many '53 Starliners the owner says are left in the universe. I saw no For Sale sign on the car. It does have a very unusual interior.

Truly, many custom interiors in the show.

I think I recall seeing that R2 clone wagon at the Red Wing MN meet a number of years ago.

Who are the old gents with the fins?

"Cooker" isn't the only error in that sign.

Dunno. I was leaving the show that day and one of them asked me to take their pic. "I've got the camera just can't do both."

"Sure" When I was finished, 2 other guys were taking their pix so I gave him back his camera and I took one, too.

One guy said, "I really only needed 1 fin but this guy made me such a deal I took 'em both!"

Just 2 happy guys--er, fin owners!

Malcolm has owned the Wagonaire since 1969. And the interior has been reupholstered since that photo was taken.
