The production order for my Commander has a destination of "4 Chicago,ILL-Stony Island." Final assembly date was 8-19-53. Any ideas if this can help me find out where the car was itially sold? Thanks as I know this is probably a crap shoot.

There is a Stoney Island Ave. in the SE part of Chicago, perhaps there was a dealer named Stoney Island Motors or something like that? The numeral 4 is possibly a postal zone number (predessesor to the Zip Codes) although it should be positioned after the city name.
