  • Where are all these Studebakers coming from

I got a call from a Ford racing buddy that was on his way back to Indiana saying he was just west of Springfield, Missouri and he keeps seeing all these Studebakers on the road and wondered where they were coming from. I told him they were headed to Springfield for the annual international meet. He was quite impressed with what he was seeing.

After the 2007 International Meet in South Bend, Kevin Fonseca got asked that very question while he was fueling up his '66 Commander in Manitoba on Highway #1 near Portage-La-Prairie. This person was driving eastbound along Highway #1, and told Kevin he saw another Studebaker heading west near Medicine Hat (whcih would have been mine, fitting the timeline). Kevin did tell him that there was a big Studebaker meet in South Bend the week before, and all were heading home.
