  • Paint: Cowl to fender rubber

I have a 52 Champion and I want to know what people do to blend
the black rubber to the body color. If the rubber is painted won't it
chip from road vibration etc. Thanks.

Apply the new one after the cowl is painted. or mask it, leave it natural black.

My error, I didn't read Cowl to Fender, I read Cowl to Hood.

Yes it will so, don't paint it. Will look unnatural if you do.

The rear fender to quarter panel welting should be body color (unpainted if black, painted for most colors), but the cowl to front fender insulator should remain unpainted.
