  • Engine Serial Number ID Request

    OK, engine sleuth's...
I need to know what this bare block (courtesy of Frank Ambrogio and $50 in 1990) was out of....

      What Ted said, Jeff, plus:

      P90916 was the first 1962 full-flow V8 engine assembly.

So, P82746 should be a partial-flow block (no oil filter provision lower rear right side). BP

We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

        Thanks all!
It is indeed a partial flow block.
Just curious, as I have been using it as a dummy block, but never checked what it really was...
Knocked all the plugs out of it and pressure washed it this morning...
Going to use it to blank up the engine/trans in the black car to fab up the mounts.....
