Appears to be a finned hawk with spare wheel cover on trunk lid (maybe Packard Hawk)driving away on the right of picture.

OK, I have a few questions for ya...
It appears (to me) that the top light of the traffic signal is lit for traffic moving away from the camera. I could be wrong, since the bottom light is blocked by an overhanging street light pole.
OTOH, it appears that the light might have just turned green for the "going away" traffic, since the Checker moving to the right seems to be clearing the intersection, as the cross traffic is entering.
OTOOH, the cars moving away from the camera that have cleared the intersection sure seem to be misplaced in relation/proportion to a "new" green light signal rotation/cycle for them. (Still really close to the intersection.)
Maybe the right-moving Checker just blasted through a red light, or turned left across oncoming traffic? ( I think I know.)
It's hard to tell in the picture who has the right-of-way, 'cause vehicles on both streets are pretty much sharing the intersection... perhaps, the light just changed?
Anyhoo... 1st question is...
Would the light at the top of the signal always be red back then, or could it be green, and the bottom light red?
I know the answer to that particular question, and have a theory as to what the status of the right-of-way might be... just askin'. <G>
2nd question...
Where is the signal for oncoming traffic?
3rd question...
Where is the signal for one-way traffic moving to the right?
4th question...
How is the oncoming, left-turning vehicle going to miss that huge curb?
So many questions, so few answers. <G>Last edited by Studedude; 05-29-2011, 07:45 PM.sigpic
