Yeah its a 90% finished project just need body work, paint and interior. Hard work is done rust repair and collecting parts. Want to trade up to a studebaker car of some kind so I am loyal to the studebaker name plate.

Based on the response I do believe it is true that, "We'd rather fix than switch"!

You are most likely better off selling the VW to a VW collector and paying cash for a Studebaker.

I always thought a Karman Ghia could be customized into a mini Bullet nose coupe easily enough. Where's our photoshop guys on this one....

Bodywork, paint, and interior is more than 10% of the work left to do!
And about 70% of the amount of money you will spend on a restoration.
I agree with the suggestions of others. SELL IT! Then buy a Studebaker of your choice, or you will end up with another project you don't want????
Good Roads

Jon,

I've always thought the same. Always expected to see one someday.
