    Have you always wanted a tank that looked like a Volkswagen bus? We didn't either, that is of course until we saw pictures of this one.     Cool!! Somebody wanted an aerodynamic version of a Thiokol Model 61 !!



    The Air Force had these snow coaches around 1963. They made to go anywhere, even over frozen tundra. They had a 243 cid engine that went through a 4 speed and it was propelled with an Oliver Clark or OC-15 rear drive. I remember it best from the Christmas movie "The Night They Saved Christmas". The head elf ferried the kids across the tundra to the North Pole and back in something like this .
