I work at a Ford dealership and the mechanics there have been doing these recalls for a while.
First came the rear recall and then the front. We had vans lined up in the back lot waiting for parts all winter.
A Ford dealer should have the parts to fix the rear axle, they have a plate kit which is bolted and glued with fusor adhesive, the same stuff used to assemble or repair some cars nowdays. If the rear axle is too far gone they can replace it.
The front kit bolts and glues on towards the back of the subframe mounts. I'm not 100% sure but if the front subframe is too far gone then Ford will buy it back. They were doing the same for the rear axle until parts were readily availabe.
