recently obtained this photo. Looks to be a 1930 Dictator?Touring. Decided to do some checking on maybe who was the school named after and the only person I could come up with that would be famous enough to either have a school named after them, or have their own private school would have been a Dorothy Davenport who was a Hollywood Actress and stopped making movies in 1925. I could not locate any other schools named after her, especially in 1930 when she was still alive and only 30 yrs. old.
Did she create... a school for aspiring young actresses in 1929-1930? And if so is that her son Wallace Reid Jr. at age 13 standing to the right of the Studebaker? If it is, he would grow up to be in 14 movies and passed away in 1990 at the age of 72 in a plane crash at sea off the Santa Monica coast in California.
